Major international company, operating all over the world is looking for qualified candidates to fill the the vacancy of Team Leader in the Logistics department.

Role summary:

* Actively collaborate on projects
* Implementation and optimization of internal processes, participation in the launch of new services
* Responsibility for daily operations in the department focusing on support of logistics services, tracking quality and costs effectiveness
* Close cooperation with the German department, transition and building of new logistics activities
* Act as a contact person for customers, every day communication with key customers and problem solving on operational level
* Recruitment of new team members, allocation of tasks among team members
* Performance evaluation and motivation of team members, responsibility for staff development, tracking KPI´s
* Planning and providing of professional training to employees
* Regular reporting

* Previous experience in operational logistics necessary
* Good knowledge of both German and English language
* Experience with team management would be an advantage, but is not a must
* Knowledge of EDI would be an advantage
* Ability to of analytical and structured thinking, fast orientation in the new environment
* Managerial skills, ability to lead your own team
