This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established international company on position of Vehicle Chassis Engineer.

Job task:

- you will be part of international team design team
- leading successful delivery of a defined set of chassis components/systems to meet targets including functional performance, quality, cost and timing
- you will be liaison with customers and suppliers
- you guide the CAD designers in component design and packaging work
- you will be liaison with CAE team to ensure components meet all performance and attribute targets
- you will be responsible for full design specification including joints, fixings and interfaces
- you will be identifying all failure modes and ensure countermeasures are verified
- you will ensure compliance with all standards including customer and legislative
- you will be responsibile for Design Verification (DV) plan and managing DV delivery
- you establish of Bill of material and as appropriate purchase order to the agreed supply source
- you will support and meet manufacturing requirements
- you will prepare regular status reports showing status of deliverables as each programme progresses

- TU education
- proven experience of delivering chassis engineering products from concept to production
- technical knowledge of one of more key areas from suspension systems, sub-frames, engine mounts, steering and braking systems
- knowledge of chassis component attributes, servicing implications, manufacturing and assembly requirements
- knowledge of GPDS process would be an advantage
- fluent English skills
- willing to work abroad
